Getting your portfolio together

I saw two of you after the student teacher meeting this past week and know you are getting your portfolio materials together. Let's cheer each other on and tell what you are putting in and/or highlighting for the reader to make it useful and organized. Uploading files and pictures to this blog is also encouraged!

For the content knowledge section I have put my philosophy of education that we wrote in fshd 409 and might plan to revise it a bit. I also was thinking of showing areas of the 6 different units my student teaching is focused on during the semester for listing course work.

Last week at the meeting someone suggested to put my block plan in the designs and plans section which I will plan to do.

Last week, the document I brought for the implements instruction section was my cooperative group activity with getting to know group memebrs. I plan to include other cooperative group activiites that are more aimed at actual content of the class in this section.

I have put my rules and expectations that I went over on my first day of teaching for the positive climate section and I plan to include a picture of our contract that was signed in class.

For the last section i will include all documentation of of professional meetings and conferences attended.

Wheres the new discussion??? So sad...

My portfolio is, as we know, infused with tigers blood and has an exceptional warlock brain. If I were to sum it up in one word.... "Winning"
