Dr. Kelly,

It is amazing to me how fast time is going by. I can't believe May starts next week!

Life has been crazy for me, as i'm sure it has been for all of you as well.

FCCLA was great yesterday, and im still feeling the effects of it today. We only went up yesterday, which i think in some ways made it a little more difficult and tiring.

i am extremely proud of all my kids. this was pueblo's, mary's and my first year involved with fccla, so we had no expectations in regards to medaling(we really just wanted them to have experience and do their best), however i'm excited to say all 5 medaled! 3 got gold, and 2 got bronze, and one of our girls got a $500 scholarship. needless to say we were so excited, and they are still feeling the excitement today.as their teacher and someone who aided them in this process, it was such a proud moment for me! they all told me they're going to miss having me to help them next year.overall, it was a great experience for all of us,and it really brought us all closer. i only wish i was here next year to see their progress.

im slightly overwhelmed with everything i have to do. in the short amount of time we have left, i feel as if i have massive amounts of things to accomplish, so im taking things slowly.

surprisingly, teaching all 5classes is not quite as stressful as i imagined, and lessons have been going really well- doing lots of interactive, hands on, and group activities, so im proud of myself for being able to branch out of my comfort zone, in regards to lesson types, and teach in a manner i was not quite familiar with. however, with the semester coming to an end it's getting harder and harder to motivate my kids, so we'll see how the next few weeks go.

i have officially decided to go to loyola marymount in the fall, so ill be moving to la.it's so weird to think i wont be in az next year!

im excited to see you all on friday, and catch up a bit, and lauren to do some lesson brainstorming!

Hooray for you,Megan, on expanding your teaching repertoire so successfully!! Will I see one of these on your next videotape?

With all the FCCLA preparation and aftermath, it has been a long time since I have seen you all!!

Is anyone else sleep deprived!? Raise your hand! hahaha :) Im so excited I get to see all of you tomorrow and more excited that I get to sleep in. Hey its only three hours but thats a lot to me.

FCCLA Competition was great. It was such an amazing experience!!!! I have gotten to see stress, excitement, and anger. I now know how to handle all these issues. My students won 14 gold medals and 2 silver. Four of our girls are going to nationals. I will tell you all the story tomorrow of why there is controversy, upset parents, and crying students even though they won gold. Its way too long to write on here. :)

Dr. Kelly, thanks for all the dates. Those were all in my calendar so I believe Im ready to go!

THREE MORE WEEKS TIL GRADUATION!!!!

Congrats Breanna and Megan again on how well your students did!

See you all tomorrow!
