Many school are doing testing this week, how is this affecting your instruction times? Are you having the students for longer periods or less than normal periods. How are you keeping the students motivated to do their work and maintain their testing schedule?

This week we are not doing testing. This week we are working on group PowerPoint’s and next week we will be presenting them. I planned this on purpose because I did not want my students to miss content. Next week we are testing and it does shorten our class periods but we knew this ahead of time so we could plan for it.
Well this week was not testing for us either testing is next week and in our school it is for sophmores and those seniors that did not pass yet. Oddly enough I have mostly freshmen and juniors. I have very few sophmores and seniors, so I do not think that it will effect my classes too much, but we will find out next week!
